DTD Fitness founder, Dwight Duval, has over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry and has been in business for eight of those years. His passion all began after the loss of his beloved mother due to diabetes complications. His loss fueled his fight to combat common health issues in his community. His vision as a professional fitness trainer is to set high standards of discipline and professionalism that many people have come to know and respect. He has gained recognition and rave reviews in his community for his many workshops educating others on health and wellness. Dwight Duval acquired a bachelor’s degree in Movement Science with a focus in athletic, functional, and mobility training. He received his training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

DTD FITNESS

Day to Day Fitness (DTD Fitness) is a lifestyle movement focused on training urban professionals with very active lives and little time to spend on fitness. Our primary goal is to develop a program to build our clients’ fitness fundamentals that are effective at burning fat, building strength, and endurance. Day to Day Fitness is here to educate, motivate, and transform the lives of our clients by helping them believe, achieve, and win!

Community Achievements:

  • He successfully completed a Senior citizen boot camp for the “Live healthy campaign” with council Member Jumaane D. Williams & The Gentlemen Factory, 2017.
  • Presented with City council citation “Take a stand tour against domestic violence’ Council Member Farah Louis, 2018, 2019.
  • Hosted “Torched Tuesday Community Boot camp” with FIT BK. 2019, 2020.

MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER

“Becoming an advocate for health and wellness is important to me (Dwight) because growing up, I wasn’t always confident in myself. Once I began to exercise, I started to notice the many transformations that happened to my body, and I had a better self-image and value for myself. There was also clarity in my thinking, and I had more self-confidence. When my mother passed away due to having diabetes, exercising was my way of mourning. So, from that day on, I decided I want to help people live a healthier lifestyle! I want to share my experience with people on how exercising made me physically, mentally, and spiritually strong.  I have been training for seven years, but I have over ten years of experience with exercising. I have gotten this far today through consistency, dedication, and hard work, and I am very passionate about helping people getting healthy and fit.”
